Trying to learn this blog thing and I'm not very good at it. Hi, my name is Laura, but most everyone I know calls me Mike. Long story...family. I've been a quilter for 28 years. And it is an obsession but one that keeps us warm in the Illinois winters. I love traditional quilts with modern fabrics. My favorite is ninepatch. I've been married for 45 years (yep, to the same one), have two daughters and 4 grandchildren. I hope to expand this blog and make it better as time goes on. Til next time.
